FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions...
Who can buy from Mike's Finest?

We sell to retail florist, wedding planners and events coordinators.  There are a few other exceptions that qualify, like interior designers and nurseries.  We will review your credit application if your business license is outside these parameters.

We DO NOT sell to the general public.  We are strictly "wholesale-to-retail", to protect the interest of the customers that we serve.

What information is required to establish an account with Mike's Finest?

We will need a copy of your business license, tax resale number and a completed credit application.  You may obtain a copy of the credit application below.

Where do I send the credit application and business license?

Our fax number and e-mail address appear across the top of the credit application.  You can either e-mail or fax the requisite forms to us.

How do I obtain a password to see the current price specials?

Once you have established an account, we will assign you a password to allow access to this protected page.

What areas does Mike's Finest serve?

We are currently licensed to sell in the states of Georgia, Tennessee and Alabama.  If you are outside these states, we will contact you as to whether we are able to operate in your region.

How do I submit an order to Mike's Finest?

You may submit an order directly to one of our sales team members, by fax, e-mail or phone to one of our offices.

How far in advance must I submit my order?

We like to have your orders at least one week prior to the delivery date.  This allows us time to secure the best product available at the best price.  It also allows us time to re-order the product if a mishap occurs, i.e. our vendor sends the wrong color, your product gets held at customs, etc.  Having adequate advanced notice of your order prevents us having to use expensive means of shipping the product, thus driving up the cost of your product.

How specific does my order need to be?

The more specific the better.  For instance, if you do not require long stems for your roses, you may request shorter stems.  We will always strive to get you exactly what you have ordered; however, due to availabilities, we will sometimes have to make substitutions.  We will NEVER make a substitution without notification and your express authorization!

What is the most common problem with special orders?

We have found that getting hung-up on a variety name can be problematic.  While we do not want to tell you how to run your business, we think it advisable to talk to clients in general shades and tones of color, as opposed to variety names of flowers.  Our experience tells us that some websites will tell of rose varieties, for instance, that are no longer in production or are grown in Uncle Charlies backyard in Vermont.  We believe this causes the most stress for wedding/event planners.

Can I trust the color resolution on your website?

Unfortunately, the answer is "NO".  While we, and others, try to provide you with accurate representations of what the product looks like "on the ground", we cannot guarantee that the pictures contained here are true to the product color.  Even the same varieties can look markedly different from two different vendors based on soil conditions, sunlight, temperature and other agricultural factors.
